Warranty & Guarantee

At The Table House, we aim to provide furniture that is designed for everyday use and built to offer lasting quality and reliability.

This Warranty & Guarantee Policy explains the coverage provided with products purchased from our Website.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. Manufacturer's Guarantee

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, eligible products purchased from The Table House include a 12-Month Manufacturer's Guarantee from the date of delivery.

This guarantee covers manufacturing defects relating to materials or workmanship under normal domestic use.

2. What Is Covered

Subject to inspection and assessment, the guarantee may cover:

  • Structural defects affecting the integrity of the product
  • Manufacturing faults in materials or workmanship
  • Defective hardware or fittings
  • Faults affecting extending mechanisms, hinges, runners, or fixings
  • Manufacturing-related defects identified during normal domestic use

Where a valid claim is approved, The Table House may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the item
  • Replace the item
  • Provide a full or partial refund

The appropriate resolution will depend on the nature of the fault, product availability, and the length of time since delivery.

3. What Is Not Covered

The Manufacturer's Guarantee does not cover:

  • General wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse, neglect, or improper use
  • Incorrect assembly or handling
  • Damage caused by failure to follow care instructions
  • Commercial or non-domestic use unless specifically stated
  • Cosmetic damage reported after delivery
  • Damage caused by environmental conditions including excessive heat, moisture, dryness, or sunlight exposure

For natural wood and stone products, variations in grain, colour, texture, knots, veining, and minor movement, settling, or expansion are considered natural characteristics of the material and are not regarded as manufacturing defects.

4. Reporting a Fault

If you believe your product has developed a fault covered by this guarantee, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the fault or damage

Email: sales@thetablehouse.co.uk
Phone: 0208 159 6037

Additional information, photographs, or videos may be requested to help assess the issue.

5. Inspection & Assessment

In some cases, we may:

  • Request additional photographs or videos
  • Arrange an inspection
  • Request access to the item for assessment
  • Arrange collection where appropriate

All claims are subject to inspection and verification that the issue relates to a manufacturing defect covered by this guarantee.

6. Care & Maintenance

Customers are responsible for following any care and maintenance guidance supplied with the product or displayed on the relevant product page.

Failure to follow recommended care instructions may invalidate the guarantee where damage results directly from improper care, cleaning, storage, or use.

7. Exclusions & Limitations

This Manufacturer's Guarantee applies in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace or limit your legal consumer protections.

The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
